“I am grateful for the opportunity that B. H. Carroll afforded me to serve in vocational ministry while pursuing my degree. This opportunity was born out of the conviction that theological education and the church should support one another. In my estimation, Carroll serves as a bridge between the academy and the church, a role I have been challenged to emulate in my own life.
“The care shown both in and out of the classroom by faculty, administrators, and staff members is unmatched by any other institution with which I’ve worked. They demonstrate unparalleled concern for the full person of the student, not just academic achievement.
“B. H. Carroll provided the foundational knowledge I needed and allowed me to study in an area that I was passionate about. They enlisted experts to come along side me and facilitate learning in my preferred field. It was truly a customized learning experience.
“My time at Carroll was one of the most difficult and yet joyous adventures in my life. The faculty did a tremendous job of balancing a high standard of academics with a loving community of support. I’m honored to be called a Carroll alum.
